Donore National School is a catholic school under the patronage of the Bishop of Meath, Most Reverend Tom Deenihan. Our mission is to provide quality education rooted in Christian values, emphasising faith, integrity and compassion to foster a nurturing environment grounded in the teachings of Jesus Christ. We strive to promote the values of respect, kindness, love, tolerance, and inclusivity, ensuring that each learner is supported to grow academically, physically, morally, spiritually and socially.

Our faith is practised daily in our prayers and play. Kindness, integrity and respect for difference are central to our daily interactions with each other an fundamental to the Catholic faith. Each year, we celebrate the sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation in Second and Sixth classes.
